Laird Lean

Damon Chang, of Laird, sent Paul this document showing their very first 2 Second Improvment! Cool!

Damon also include the following note:
Paul, Thanks for the great tour and insights into your lean journey and establishing the awesome culture! As you know, many of our sites have already seen significant changes. You may have noticed that I bought several long-nose markers and the black and white kaizen foam. They just arrived at my site in Chongqing, China last Thursday which was perfect timing because I just got there myself. We had a fun session with our entire Production Team introducing lean, playing a 5S game, looking at pictures from the tour, and watching some of your videos. The kaizen foam was intriguing to them on video but when they actually tried it, everyone got very excited. They had a fun time making the first prototype desk organizer. Now everyone is eager to make their own and improve their desks and workstations! I do not have enough foam which is not a bad problem to have! The reception has been great and we hope to take advantage of the energy that we cultivated. I hope to send you videos and more examples soon….Thanks again for your generosity and enlightenment. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Damon
