Mr. Shingo currently heads the Institute of Management Improvement, a company started by his father, Dr. Shigeo Shingo, who was instrumental in the creative of the Toyota Production System. Mr. Ritsuo Shingo consults with high-level corporate executives worldwide on the subject of Lean leadership and has extended the commitment to Lean into the next generation of world-class Organizations.
